Injury crisis becoming unmanageable as Wolves limp into the clash at Turf Moor with ever decreasing options

A back issue means Wolves will now be without Adam Armstrong, alongside the long-term injury to Raul Jimenez, for Friday night’s fixture at Burnley

“We are going to rotate again,” Cesar Peixoto said. “Adam had a problem in his back and will not play tomorrow but we think he will be able to play in the next game. I talked all the time to have two players in each position because of this. Next week we have another three games, and we have to manage minutes to make sure we don’t have any more injury options.

“Adam is an experienced player and has scored a lot of goals in the Championship. He works a lot and runs a lot in the games to help the teams in the offensive or defensive way. I have confidence in him. He’s one of the players that runs more in the games and tries to help the team, if he doesn’t run then - for me - it’s a problem. When he scores once he will score more. I don’t point at one player to blame, I have a lot of confidence in him and he’s played a lot of minutes and has played with an issue with his back.”
