BOLTON MATCH PREVIEW: Managing the minutes – how Wolves must approach the second game in this block of five.

There are some big decisions to make ahead of a home clash with promoted Bolton as Cesar Peixoto looks to banish the bluntness of Boro away.

Wolves’ two defeats in the Championship have come against two of the only four sides above them in the table, which is perhaps indicative of where the team ranks at this stage of the season. Cesar Peixoto’s work has been generally impressive so far and he has constructed a side capable of challenging in the second tier, with the caveat that recruitment may have left him short when it comes to being able to mount a challenge at the very top.

At home to Bolton Wanderers, 17th in the table, Wolves should be well capable of regaining some form in front of goal but the selection is complicated by a handful of injuries that need managing throughout this busy period. Rodrigo Gomes is the latest player to suffer a ‘niggle’ - one of those all-capturing terms that you find in the football lexicon.
