Jenny Wilkes is the perfect representation of what Wolves Women is all about. Since joining the club in 1999, Wilkes has had a front row seat on what has been a rollercoaster ride in the Black Country. Now with Wolves Women established as a professional entity, she has been reflecting on the depth of development.

“In 1999 I used to work at Molineux in the corporate areas interviewing players, who weren't playing, for the corporate guests on matchday,” she tells The Wanderers Post. “So I used to go to all the men's games and I was working at BBC Radio WM.

“John Richards, who was then the managing director of Wolves, approached me to say that Wolves Women were looking for some help to try and progress and asked if I would be interested in becoming chair of Wolves Women.
