Cesar Peixoto can reflect on the most satisfying victory of his short tenure after a tense derby was decided by a single goal, after Albion keeper Max O'Leary's first half heroics.
“It’s very important. It’s only three points but we know the importance of this game for the supporters and we wanted to win this game for our supporters,” Peixoto said. “I think the players deserved this win, they played with a lot of soul, big organisation, big quality, we created a lot of chances and we can score more goals but it’s an important win.
“We’re going to rest now because of the national team. It’s important we rest with a win and come back as strong as possible when we return to training.”
