Fer Lopez believes he is beginning to demonstrate the benefits of his physical development in English football after acknowledging he is currently playing the best football of his career.
After scoring the winning goal against West Bromwich Albion, the Spanish playmaker reflected on his recent developments in the past 12 months. In particular, his physical impact in games.
"It was a very physical game, which maybe last year I couldn't have played because of how physical it was,” he said. "Thanks to the work I'm doing, preparing myself physically for the demands of English football, I'm evolving and getting more ready.
