Cesar Peixoto’s Wolves rebuild is as much about subtraction as it is addition. The head coach wants new players, but first he must navigate through a crowded Wolves squad, along with accepting the fate that Ladislav Krejci’s future may be beyond his control.
Peixoto is showing patience regarding the incomings, as he understands he has the backing of the board, but it is a story supporters have heard before from managers in recent years. Wolves must get this one right if they intend to be back in the Premier League next season.
“We are working and we know what we want, I have the confidence of the board to do our things,” said the head coach. “We have to manage the things inside of the club, players go out and players come. As soon as possible we are bringing players to improve the quality and the level of the team.
