Tommy Doyle has given his insight into what it is like to work under Cesar Peixoto and his staff, and has said that having a former player as a manager can have a positive impact within the squad’s progress.

“The boss has played before and I think that that really helps us, especially with the players that we have, he understands and gives us a freedom to play,” Doyle explained.

“On the ball, no one's afraid to give the ball away. No one's afraid to try a pass. as long as we're working hard and running for each other. It's all good and he really instils that into us. As a team we have to be the hardest working team, we have to run all over teams and, with the squad that we've got, in the last 10, 15, 20 minutes, that's where games can be won and we have the fitness and we have a lot of good players in the squad that can come on and affect games.”
