A question of atmosphere: The fans' view of where the current problems at Molineux stem from

The Wanderers Post went into the stands at the recent Watford fixture to gauge supporters' opinions on one of the issues being raised with the team back in the Championship.

There was a time when teams feared of coming to Molineux, particularly under the management of Nuno Espirito Santo. Before every game, no matter the opposition, there was belief in the stands that the hosts could get a result. The relationship between the players and the supporters was tightknit, those sitting in the stands felt connected. However, at present, it is a complete contrast.

It is important to recognise that every manager who has come through the doors at Compton since Nuno’s departure will never be able to replicate the style that he brought. Each manager, in their own right, has a different personality with different tactics. But supporters don’t want a replica of Nuno, they just want to see a team that plays attractive football and fights for the badge.
