Two Hundred up for Anna Morphet: Wolves Women captain reflects on most demanding week in club’s history

Anna Morphet has been speaking to The Wanderers Post about a personal milestone during a week that has challenged the WSL 2 newcomers in so many different ways. The midweek cup defeat at home to WSL side Brighton marked a double century of appearances.
Prior to the game, the Wolves Women skipper was presented with a framed Wolves shirt as a gift for reaching the milestone. It is an achievement that the defender is proud of, but will reflect deeper on the journey another time, as her current focus is getting Wolves back to winning ways.
“I'll probably have to stop at some point and take it in because it's been quite a journey,” she tells The Wanderers Post. “It's difficult, obviously, because we haven't got the results that we maybe wanted in the last two games, but I know at some point I will try to stop and think about it and appreciate it, because it's been a hell of a ride. I am obviously dead proud, and it's a proper football club to do it for.”
