The power of supporter coordination was perhaps the most interesting aspect of the 2025/26 season off the pitch, and as Wolves prepare for their first season back in the Championship in eight years, those at the centre of fans’ mobilisation last season are continuing their impressive work with a project born from a love of the club.
Kieran Newey, Alex Moore and Nathan Crawford founded the Old Gold Pack (OGP) fans’ group to set up flag and Tifo displays inside Molineux. They have coordinated some impressive artwork in recent years, particularly during the COVID period for the Raúl Jiménez fundraising banner and more recently the Diogo Jota tributes last season. Ryan Leister is host of The Wolves Report podcast. He found himself spending more time with Newey during the supporters’ protests last season, co-ordinated by a group who had significant social media platforms amongst the fanbase.
