Wolves Women manager Dan McNamara has highlighted the support the club have received from the hierarchy at the club and is hopeful that the relationship will continue to develop as his team progresses through the campaign.
“I think it was only a matter of time before the club saw real value in the women,” he explained, ahead of his side’s first home match in WSL 2. "I don't think they used to, if I'm honest, but now there is a real value in what the women bring to the brand. They are a fully professional football team now and Wolves, we know, is a worldwide brand and that can only strengthen.
