MATCH PREVIEW WATFORD: No excuses for another home flop as struggling Hornets come to town

Cesar Peixoto knows he cannot afford another below par home display this weekend, with the Watford fixture marking the end of a five-game run in the space of 14 days.

There is pressure on Wolves to make amends for their home form since the international break. Cesar Peixoto cut a frustrated figure at full-time in midweek, getting embroiled in an altercation with his counterpart John Mousinho in the opposite dugout.

What cannot happen on Saturday is a repeat of that first half performance, which was laboured and lacking in energy. Wolves must come at this game afresh, intent on putting a weak Watford side on the back foot from the first whistle. The onus is on the forward players to take the initiative, particularly out wide where Wolves were found lacking against Portsmouth.
