Wolves are beginning to enjoy the fruits of Cesar Peixoto’s plans, in these very early stages. The head coach is currently unbeaten across all competitions and now hosts a Stoke City side who have not won an away fixture since 4 January, on Saturday lunchtime.

After a well-deserved victory in the Carabao Cup against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday evening, Wolves will be hoping they can provide further momentum as they look to climb the table. Peixoto has highlighted how impressed he has been so far, with his side looking to extend their unbeaten run tomorrow.

“It would be better if we won the four," he said. “I think it’s good for our confidence, we know it’s important to start the season in the right way but we have a lot to work on and improve. We have to stay humble and work hard to try and fight to win three points.
