Cesar Peixoto: options and problems to consider

Preston North End Preview: All change! Keeper switch, debutants, injuries and a more finely-tuned high press? What can we expect from the starting line-up at Deepdale?

This has been an eventful week, with a combination of good and bad news for Cesar Peixoto. The signing of Jordan James is probably as decent a capture as Wolves can realistically expect to get at this level. Whether he goes straight into the side for the weekend will depend on what Peixoto has seen on Thursday and Friday on the training ground.

The work at Compton Park is far from done and Wolves currently look a long way off a well-oiled machine. The patterns that the head coach is trying to implement are there for supporters to see, though, and they will be looking to observe improvements at Deepdale.
