It was an appointment that caught supporters, players, coaching staff and even some high up in the Wolves hierarchy by surprise, but just over seven weeks into his time as head coach at Wolves, Cesar Peixoto is a more familiar name to us all.
The greatest challenge for the new man ahead of the Championship season is building something where there were no foundations in place. Peixoto must pick the bones out of a team that limped out of the Premier League, reintegrate returning loanees, while adding others who have since come through the door, discount a few who are certain to depart, and plan for more who are yet to arrive.
