Our Pack – Wolves at 150: New book celebrating club’s historic anniversary set to hit the shelves

A new book ‘Our Pack: Wolves at 150’ is being published in November from Pitch Publishing to coincide with the club’s anniversary year celebrations. It has been co-authored by Paul Berry and I, the second of our books following on from the 2023 publication of Revolution of Wolves.
Our Pack is a search for the heart and soul of Wolverhampton Wanderers. Through a rich mix of exclusive interviews and personal memories, the book explores the people and moments that have shaped and defined Wolves from their Victorian beginnings through to the modern era.
At its heart, this is a story of belonging – of a city and football club intertwined. It is also a tribute to the generations of devotees who have passed their love of Wolves from parent to child: a celebration of that special feeling that comes with being part of the pack.
Whether you have followed Wolves all your life or discovered the club more recently, Our Pack is a heartfelt celebration of this unique institution and the supporters who give it life. Highlights include:
• King John Richards on his heroics on the pitch followed by difficult days in the boardroom
• The top-secret police operation to rid the club of its hooliganism problem in the 1980s
• Ruben Neves, Conor Coady and their team-mates on Nuno’s revolutionary management
• Living with Wolves’ greatest-ever manager, as told by Stan Cullis’s son
• Robbie Keane on his incredible breakthrough as a teenage sensation
• Graham Turner on how training on a gravel-ridden car park helped drive a spectacular revival
• The ‘one game Wanderers’ whose limited appearances are worth their weight in gold
• Fans’ unbridled devotion, including travelling by plane from the Isle of Man strapped to the floor of the mail compartment
• ‘Don’t ever say you are just a cleaner’ – Mick McCarthy on instilling a club-wide mentality
• How ‘one in a million’ Kenny Jackett rebuilt a club and fanbase
• How an informal kickabout launched Wolves Women’s journey all the way to WSL 2
